Teaming up for better solutions on Health IT
Synectics has been selected by the leading technology firm GovernmentCIO, LLC as a subcontractor on a strategic partnership for the National Institutes of Health (NIH) Center for Information Technology (CIT) Mission Alignment (MA) Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) multiple-award contract. This 5-year BPA will allow both teams to provide a broad set of IT Program and Technical Services across the enterprise. Through GovernmentCIO team up, Synectics will be bringing all its expertise and experience in health IT.
Synectics, a Federal Small Business IT and Data Management contractor, has extensive experience managing health-related data. Our products helped to make the Behavioral Health Services Information System (BHSIS) a standard for tracking national public health data. The nation’s first comprehensive mental health and drug abuse treatment services locator got its start with Synectics, and for nearly 20 years we designed and deployed improved versions for the Department of Health and Human Services’ (HHS’) Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA).
