Synectics at Federal Health IT Challenge

We would like to recognize the immense efforts of the SMDI staff and 540.co developers who worked on the Federal Health IT Challenge in April and May. Our staff’s concept paper, “Matching Demand for Behavioral Health Workforce,” put us among the finalists. The team then had only two weeks to build a functioning prototype for an application called LifeLink that was designed to connect behavioral health professionals and employers while providing analytic data that could be used by academia and the government. LifeLink could be incredibly helpful in dealing with the growing behavioral health workforce crisis. Synectics is very proud of the solution our team created.

Many thanks for all their hard work to Bernadette Phelan, Janek Claus, Gunjan Shrivastava, Subash Thota, Vicki Stokes, and Michelle LaChance (Synectics); Amanda Hewitt and John O’Brien (540.co); and Obed Diaz-Rodriguez (Knowhow Media Solutions)
