Karsun Solutions and Synectics to modernize FEMA Grants Management System
Synectics for Management Decisions, Inc. (Synectics) has been awarded a subcontract from Karsun Solutions, LLC to help modernize the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) IT grants management systems. We will be supporting the development of an enterprise solution for the FEMA Grants Management Modernization Program (GMM) that will transform the agency’s grants management environment into a more unified environment that uses standardized processes. This solution will improve efficiency and access to FEMA’s disaster and non-disaster recovery aid and assistance programs.
For 24 years, Synectics has been working on grants management projects, starting with the development of the Grants Administration Tracking and Evaluation System (GATES) which evolved into ACF’s “GrantSolutions”, and where we continue providing custom development and help desk support. Other current grants-related projects include supporting the business processes for grants management at the National Science Foundation (NSF). Synectics has a proven record on supporting the Federal Government and other clients through its Data Management and enterprise-level Custom Development offerings.
