Roya Khodabakhshi has over 12 years of professional experience in the area of accounting and financial services. She will be working directly with the Chairman of the Board of Directors and the President to develop strategic business and financial decisions, business direction, and control procedures that focus on business and control issues, while making sure the tasks are accomplished efficiently. As Synectics’ Controller, Roya is responsible for all financial, budgeting, and day-to-day accounting functions. Prior to joining Synectics, Roya was Manager/Controller of multiple clients at an outsourced accounting firm, focused on providing accounting operations support and business operations management services to government contractors. Her background includes not-for-profit finance operations, government grant reporting, indirect rate design and development, GAAP and FAR compliance, and project management. She holds a BS in Accounting from George Mason University, and she is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
