Amit Magdieli focuses on leading operational effectiveness and program management excellence for Synectics. His responsibility is to ensure that Synectics optimizes its strong market presence through quality processes, organizational efficiency, and value for employees and clients. He is also an adjunct professor with Syracuse University teaching eGovernment policy. Amit has spent over 15 years working on government efficacy and innovative public sector solutions as a Political Appointee in the Obama Administration, a senior manager for a federal contractor, and business leader for a Congressionally-chartered nonprofit. He received his MBA in Management and Finance from the Johns Hopkins University and his BA in Economics and Political Science from Emory University. He is a Fellow of the Truman National Security Project and has co-authored books, articles, and white papers on a variety of government management topics, including a white paper titled: Optimizing Government Effectiveness Through Shared Services and a book Managing Public Dollars: New Rules, New Roles, New Opportunities for Federal Financial Managers.
