For a second year, Synectics demonstrated its commitment to the American Heart Association (AHA) by raising funds and joining the Heart Walk. AHA’s efforts to reduce disability and death caused by cardiovascular disease and stroke include encouraging people and companies to join events throughout the year including fund-raising, awareness campaigns, and the Heart Walk. The AHA Greater Washington Chapter held its Heart Walk on November 5th at the National Mall.
Many Synectics staff embraced the challenges of fund-raising and the Heart Walk. “Supporting AHA is part of our outreach efforts—giving us the opportunity to touch our community outside of the business environment,” said Jack Hirsbrunner, Founder of Synectics and one of the walkers.
