CIO-Solutions & Partners 2 (CIO-SP2) is a flexible Information Technology
(IT) contract vehicle available through the National Institutes of Health (NIH)
from their National Institute of Health Information Technology Acquisition
and Assessment Center (NITAAC) to all federal government agencies.
Synectics is a subcontractor to Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC) on
the CIO-SP2 contract.
A 10-year contract vehicle awarded on December 21, 2000, the contract
will end on December 20, 2010, but tasks can run another 12 months, through
December 20, 2011. CIO-SP2 is an ID/IQ type contract and there is no limit
on the task order value or ODCs. Contract types available for use include
T&M, FFP, CPFF, CPAF, and CS.

Tasks can be incrementally funded, and the contract access fee is 1 percent of the Funded Value.
The fee is funded as a separate line item on the Funding Document, and is collected and paid to NIH-NITAAC by the vendor.
